BRA TIPS WE WISH MOM TOLD US

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

I don't know about you but I wish I had know some of these tips when I was younger.

Bras come in all shapes, sizes and fabrics. Not to mention the many different designs. Being a plus size woman and having a bigger chest lead to many uncomfortable days stuck in bras I was told fitted right. However, my skin would argue with those professional bra fitters.

Honestly, I question why we wear bras all the time. It is documented that bras can lead to breast cancer cause they can restrict the natural flow of blood et al in the body. It is also documented that bras don't prevent boobs from sagging as we age. Some even swear bras cause the sagging as they prevent the muscles from learning to hold up the boob.

So what if I can't not wear a bra?

I for one may wish I could go bra-less but I hate the feeling of my underboob touching my upper belly area, especially if it's hot out. And there's SO much heat under there that I need a bra to hold the girls up a little to release that heat.

So now I wear bralettes, sports bras, strapless bras, and really any bra without a wire. The wire can be nice sometimes, for special outfits, or occasions. However, I heard on a podcast recently (don't ask the name of it, I can't remember for the life of me) a woman say "It doesn't matter if they're saggy or not, they're still gonna get played with." HAHAHAHA too true. No one worth being naked with will say "Never mind, I'm leaving," when they see them.

Here are my go to bras lately-

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
